Gators, Braves, and Rain Clouds
Well, my prediction was correct: The Gators battled the Bruins for the National Title. I picked with my heart (refusing to listen to my head) and for once, the heart won. For the first time ever, my Orange and Blue can hoist the Men's National Basketball Championship Trophy. Congratulations to my Gators, and all of my fellow Gator fans around the world.
How bad do you think Anthony Roberson and company are feeling right now?
The Braves exploded for a huge offensive day to start off the year...but we either forgot we were in the NL (as opposed to the AL) or forgot that Spring Training ended already, but we made a concerted effort to give it away, winning just barely 11-10 in Chavez Ravine. Tonight, we're set for game two, but apparently LA has angered the sports gods, because steady rain is hitting LA and doesn't look to let up until late tomorrow night. I'm expecting a cancellation tonight, possibly tacked on later in the year, but Wednesday they'll likely play through. It'll be soggy, but it'll be baseball.
Not quite sure what to say about Los Bravos yet...check in after another game.
